i waited forever for this album to be released and was totally stoked to get a copy of it.

Me, being a big fan of Green Day since the 90's, found this album to be quite refreshing. Expecially after they released Shenanigans, which i thought could have been much better, but they made a huge recovery in this album. It keeps its mood and method deliberately, tenaciously, and angrily on point thee entire album, and you have to respect them for it.

Anyway.. to make a long review short.. if you loved Green Day from the 90's, you'll really love this album, nonetheless just give it a listen. you won't be disappointed.

(i'll host a few mp3's later, or if you can't wait then IM me on AIM, i'll send you a few songs.)

Fuck. I haven't had money to buy it. I have been a fan of theirs for a while. Not sure how long. I just remember the christmas after Dookie came out. I listened to that cd forever. Ah, the memories.

I downloaded the cd last night. I love it. My favorite songs are American Idiot, Jesus of Suburbia, and Boulevard of Dreams.

oh my fucking god.

so just because some people only heard of greenday when they released american idiot, theyre labelled as wannabes.

... you people sicken me. without fans, greenday wouldn't even exist to create new music. and if you don't like the idea of the band becoming 'mainstream' then you obviously like them for the wrong reasons.

I have only heard the song "American Idiot" from the album. I was supposed to buy the album last week, but then I decided to buy Rammstein - Reise, Reise instead. I hear you all praising the album, but is it really worth to buy.. (or download biggrin.gif )? I like Dookie a lot, but the more recent Green Day hasn't really been my thing. So shop or not?

My old favorite Green Day song was Hitchin' A Ride. Now I like Whatsername.

"I made a point to burn all of the photographs.." That part is great.

no see you misunderstood... it was fine back when they first start out.. that's fine for any band.. but then 4 years later after the people go on about how bad green day suck and stuff then actually hear a song they like.. they're all.. OMFG I FCUKIN LUV GRENEDAY!!!11 Oh yea.. what's your favorite album by them? Oh i haven't heard many.. but that song they play on the radio.. FUCKIN AWEESOMEE#!!!

you obviously have no idea how great bands stay original. MTV and the Radio ruin it. Sorry if you think differently. but bands that go mainstream.. turn into Good Charolette. External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html//emoticons/Copy of tongue.gif
