Ok, my laptop is a bastard for over heating and making weird noises. I don't have enough technical knowledge yet to screw around inside it. And I don't really trust sending it away to Tiny computers right now since they've going into Admin. I came across this and it seemed like a pretty good solution to my problems. Looking for fellow computer geeks on the forums (gazaa and made)

to advise me on this, is it worth the money?
Notebook CoolerCheers,
Nico.

Great for the gigging laptop user as it will ensure good airflow to your lappy and reduce risk of over-heating during the show
I'd say so.

if you want to cool off your laptop dunk it into a tank of vegtable oil.. it doesnt conduct electrisity and the oil kills the noise.. only problem is its messy and you would have to buy external dvd and cd drives..lol

You could make that for a lot cheaper.

Yeah I thought about raising the laptop off the ground, but the fans are built in and shit and cant really be arsed spending my time on that. lol
