Best editing prog. to capture footeh.

Can someone recommend me a good editing program to upload heaps of videos of my camera without all the hassle of ulead / vegas etc...?

I've been using WMM1 up until a while ago, it captured shit no hassles really quick, now it's gone with service pack 2, and WMM2 sux0rz.

all this program does is capture... and its quick and easy
