IE settings

I used IE for years and then got firefox but after so much big prolems with it I deleted it.

now when I need IE to open from licking a link on msn or trying to view a profile or when installing somthing its ment to bring up a webpage so I can d/l a upgrade before I can carry on with installing it doesnt open a window

anyonew know how I can set it as defult? im pretty sure its still set to open firefox but as its not there its just doing nothing.

then set the browser to ie
