ok I had to re-install windows but now when I go to download updates it says this
Validation Failure: Invalid Product Key
thing is....I've used this key plenty of times when I've had to re-install with no problems
it runs so fucking slow now and heaps of shit doesnt work
so can anybody help me fix this problem somehow ?

look for the key on google is all I can suggest , it might be because you havealready registered that number before?

it says it's activated but when I go to windows updates it says its not validated...so I can't download the shit

Is it a copied version of windows? cause you cant download microsoft updates without verifyin the cd key... I think anyway.

You should of got the XP Proffessional Corporate Edition. It has no Windows Activation key, it's what I downloaded, had it for few years now ^_^

but you see I've used this copy before and I've downloaded the updates
like probably twice in the last month and it's worked fine
but this time it won't...and no matter how many times I change the product key and it says its activated it still won't let me download the updates....which is essential
