Well i have a sony handicam, and I'm pretty psoitive it has Ilink capabilities. Is ilink worth it?

Not really, a firewire cable costs next to shit, most camaras have firewire anyway.

how can u tell maybe i got fire wire i got a sony dcr class b and i find my quality to be A one but how can i tell if its firewire?

It plugs into the firewire plug? You need a special card for it...

i paid 50 bucks for my firewire card.

any camera that have DV hookup. is firewire.
