Most of the time now, when I go on my forums and ad is always at the top with:

Incredible Bar Tricks
Learn magic tricks only the pros do perform amazing stunts in any bar
www.ellusionist.com

and (wouldn't you know it?)

HomeGrown Forums
Homegrown stunts, come register cky and jackass related forum.
homegrownforums.com

Is that one of the pay-per clicks gazza was talking about a while ago? Like I said, sorry to spam, but this is it: http://socalpranks.proboards30.com/
Is it only happening on my comp.?

Its proboards.

They never go down, but they are so ugly and annoying to use.

Same shit, better look and more skinning choices then just different shades of the same template. Oh and they are running off of InvisionBoard v1.3 now, which is what this board uses.

Its pay per click, any clicks from anyone costs 10 cents each, its advertising for the forum, so the ad shows up in quite a lot of places. Just don't click it, its so people who don't know the forum will click and find us, and hey presto more members, meaning by advertising that way you virtually have to pay for members lol. But it isn't as effective as it may seem, because people get curious, and start clicking it when they already know the board *rants*
