okay, like a couple weeks ago my camera got wet.. but I fixed it and it worked fine... and today I put in a new tape and I was trying to record but there was the symbol no tape, but there is a tape in it... and my battery was really low.. Do you think it wont read it because of the battery? I need some help!!!

my camera does that too sometimes you just have to flip it to play mode and rewind it a bit then record whatever...that works for me

I tried, but like its a new tape u can't fast forward or rewind u think I should get an old tape and try it? but another problem my friend schepel has my tapes!!!

I have stupid Sony cam... but I have not this problem my cam were in snow... many times it fallen... but I have not this problem

well I dont havew a sony cam but I would try a different tape and I dont know if tapes ahve it but some cassetes do they have a lock on them so you cant record anyhting onto them check if it has a lock or something

did you try hiting it with a hammer cuz that usealy works for me

ok now when I open the latch my tape wont eject AHHH! this sucks im gunna go cry now bye haha

When it happend u need fight you cam.... and say... Fuck u stupid Japan cam... I sold you... When u fight it... it don't work 100%

A cleaning tape might help..
Otherwise I'd go with the hammer option

plug the charger in..then the battery wont matter....and maybe the tapes messed up..
