anyone here have some knowledge on cracking it? i have enough so i won't waste your time. just need a little expert advice.
i recently downloaded a game and there is no cd cracks for it anywhere. so i decided to crack it myself and read up on it. but i'm a little stuck. so if anyone could help me send me an IM on AIM or post here.

in most cases you'll need to modify the executable, requiring programming knowledge.
also, if theres not a crack somewhere on the internet, then the game is obviously not worth cracking.

Well in my experience, if you have downloaded and burned a game, there should be a crack folder in the games file structure, you will need to go into this, copy the executable, and replace it with the main one in the root directorry after you have installed the file.

nah it's not doom 3 i already saw shit loads of cracked cd's for that game.
it's called missing: since january.
i like playing mystery games that have you solve murder cases and shit. this one puts you in the mind of a serial killer and it uses the internet to solve shit. like you get e-mails from like "real" people from the game trying to help you. and phone calls.. even the serial killer calls you up.
heh i thought it seemed pretty cool when i read about it.

best buy has it for 20 bucks. i was gonna buy it but i always download my games. this is just the first time i got one off of IRC that didn't come with a cd crack. so i'm pissed. can't play it yet

from IRC.
i go to ircspy.com or packetnews.com
search for my game and download it from there. sometimes i have to wait. but if you really want something then waiting is no big deal.

lol i'm still having trouble cracking the exe. i got past the asking for cd part but now there are other errors i need to hex. so instead of wasting my time i think imma just go buy it. now that i've experienced what a cracker goes through.. i think i'm going to pay a little more respect to people that do this everyday. it's hard as fuck.
