Sony handycam problem.

K, I own a sony handycam, but recently its been fucking up for some unknown reason.

Whenever I put in the DC power supply to charge the camera, everything turns off, and nothing happens, you take it out and it turns back on again Image file not present in the recovered backup Even with the DC power supply turned off, when the plug goes in everything switches off, and in the charge mode does nothing.

I have replaced the battery with my friends brand new one so it most probably isnt the battery.

My very last option would be taking it to a specialist. So your thoughts are appriciated.

Never had this kinda problem, maybe your charger in the camera is broken or something

sounds like your charger, they short out if they are broken to protect over loading the camera

I gots a sony handycam and it works fine. Only problem is, I had the almost same problem with my old sony handycam. And I fixed it by gettin a new cam lol!

Charger eh. Ok thanks, I picked it up this morning and it kind of flickered on, ill try and get a new one, thanks.

My chatger fucked up too a while ago, just get it repaired

ummm, take the battery out and just charge it for a while and then put the battery bak in and see if it works.... if not try using your friends charger
