That was pretty cool man, but you got a little carried away on the effects. I think good editing is about knowing when to make your cuts, music selection, and carrying on a style in your work. Since you did all 3 of those pretty well...I would say just cut down on the excessive effects and then it should look pretty good.

I remember when groups like BI first started out they woud use every effect there was in the software they had. It didnt really look to good. Most effects usually just turn out looking cheap...deteriorating the quality of your work. Thats why I dont usually use programs like After Effects.

Personally, when it comes to editing I focus on color, speed, and audio. I try to make my camera work and content so good that not a whole alot of editing is neccessary.

Anyways, keep up the good work.

Thanks dudes.

Only a couple of things were done in Alam.

And yeah WEAK I was excpeting someone to say something about over use of effects and I totally agree with you but it was all pretty much the same effect (black and white with a few colours showing through). I was just mucking about seeing what I could do with footage people have seen before. Thanks for the feedback though.

I can appriciate how longthat must have taken to make, I thought your cuts were very good and the music fitted in nicely, but the effects over the whole video annoyed me. But yeah apart from that it was nice.

that was great, would make a nice intro for a dvd, the drum part kinda killed it tho

Yeah man I thought exactly the same.

When I made it the drum bit seemed to fit in (and I do love that solo) but now when I watch it back it feels kinda out of place.

Great man, I thought that was a pretty hard song to edit to, you know with the beats and stuff, well in my opinion.

Anyway without much action, I mean like stunts or whatever, you did great to do it biggrin.gif if you no what I mean.

anyway good promo

great vid Image file not present in the recovered backup I liked the beggining best because of the music and the gunshot. I also liked the way some of it was in black and white and only had a few objects in colour.
