Possible to post specs? I can't be bothered to get Acrobat.

Looks like its aging rapidly from a glance though, unless you can get a fairly good deal I don't know that its a great buy :\

Great cam, more features than you need and want though. It uses for professional news broadcasts and such..

Picture quality will come up similair to vx2100. Same lens. Same ccds.

Sound will be much more professional than that of a vx2100. Many more sound options too...for equipment I reckon you dont have, nor will be able to afford.

Lots of buttons...adjusting shit that I dont even know about.

Buy if the price is ridiculously good...otherwise save yourself the time and cash...go for something more practical

also make sure it records in the format of which your country uses..NTSC or PAL.

well I really want this as a proffession more than a hobby. Id rather have a bigger camera than a VX because im shaky as hell. Im getting a shotgun mic and a boom pole aswell and this cam is around $1000aud. The only problem I can see and its not a big deal is that it records on DVCAM tapes which are more expensive and harder to find then mini-dv
