Anyone see "The Longest Yard"?

I was a little skeptical becuase Sandlers's latest work hasn't been very good (even though Sandler's my favorite actor ever, Happy Gilmore = God, best movie ever), anyway, anyone seen it? I really like it. Lot's of good ol slapstick cheap comedy. Anyone else see it?

Just saw it last night, very funny. I liked the big black dude's reaction when the other innmate said the matresses were more comfortable at the mental hospital he had been in.

I really want to see it bad. I love all the movies Adam Sandler is in. The previews for the longest yard look good.

I wanna see this. But it's totally different from the original, if I'm thinking of the right movie. So, I dunno how I'll feel about it.

I thought Adam Sandler was going to shits when he played in Spanglish. Wasn't his type of movie. It was more of a serious movie.

Adam Sandler has had a few bad movies in his time..Spanglish, Punch Drunk Love..what the hell was that about...I havent seen Longest Yard yet but I hope its good

Well im sorry to tell u but the film is a copy.
ITs a copy from "MEAN MACHINE" with Vinnie Jones. He is put in prison for fighting, he fucked up a football match cos he was paid, warden lets him put a team together to play the cops.
The exact same story line is taken. they even hit the guy in the nuts 2x like in Mean Machine. Also the Warden tells Vinnie Jones to throw the game, his friend dies like the caretaker.

Its just one big rip. But both are funny as hell!! (not that hell is funny or anything u no what I mean)

I think mean machine is better because your not ment to be violent in football but they go around kicking each other and stuff so its funny. and the goal keeper is fucking nuts too.

well yeah its a copy and its meant to be cuz the old guy that wants to coach in the longest yard is from the origional movie... I loved it it was soo damn funneh!
