much like the photoshop battles, someone suggests an effect, say from a movie, and we compete to see who can best recreate it

it could be judged on accuracy and creativity of how u use it

any takers?

haha yeah i went to that movie with a girl and while kissing I sometimes peeked at the screen to check out the effect haha.
It looks like they cut a part around Ashton and then let the area around it move a bit (Transform) and use a Directional Blur + Ghosting to get the right effect. I'm not sure how they did that shit with the letters on the paper moving though.. :S

Sometimes I wish I had a damn green or blue screen...

Yeah, I've been considering converting my garage into one, but I just don't have the bucks.......really I guess all I'd have to do is paint the whole interior the same color........but anyway

it will work but the shades of the green/blue used are not very common. If you use black as background and your actor has blackhair, u'll see a weird boldheaded (maybe with a few hairpieces left on his head), on a starship.

That's how they made Star Trek with the Enterprise-D anyway..

oh, alright...so, as long is the color isn't a very common one then it would be ok to use? like something bright?
