help

I installed Pc booster on my desktop, seems as though its fucked up my registry and screwed all my .dll files as lots of things arnt loading. I can't get onto system restore, I get some file path error. I tried safe mode but doesnt work. please people a little help here, it's my dads comp and he will kill me! please anyone?

Haha, you idiot. Programs like PC booster not only fuck with the registry to an uncoverable state and "optimise" the DLL files by adding random shite to them, but I believe it contains buggy code which in itself slows the PC down and it may have spyware installed. Basically you've fucked the registry, and its easier to reformat the computer than to try and recover it, run the latest spyware and antivirus scans also, just to check its not a virus causing this. Then delete PC booster from your computer, you may want to try searching for a registry repair program, otherwise reformat as its too much hassle to repair it manually

I dont understand though gazaa, I have the very same copy of pc booster on my laptop and it works fine. it must be some conflict. I can't run anythin on my desktop, I cant even log onto an admin username, I have to use my sisters limited shit. I cant get on the net or anythin. My dad is gonna rape me, all his files will be gone! Am gonna have to lie to him lol.

Incorrecto, ill just be reformating. I cant back up, coz I cant get onto my dads account, it wont load. So I can't back up his files. entire computer, my account and my dads are both admins, they dont load at all. my mum and sister have limited accounts and they barely load. so I cant even get into my dads folder and make a back up of his stuff. the registry is totally fucked. ar I am going to have to reinstall broadband now and my router, hopefully the config wont be a bitch and will set up ok.

That sucks I usally have to reformat every couple of months just to keep my computer alive
