Right, yesterday I recieved an email from a lady emailing me on behalf of VH1, her email is below. It sounds awesome to me, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had an email similar to this one. Thanks
Hi,
I work for a new show on VH1 called Wack TV, where we showcase footage from
around the world, especially Jackass-like videos. I'd love to get a copy of
your DVD to potentially license it for our show. We of course would pay for
it. If you can invoice us, that'd be great. And we would work out licensing
fees if we decide to use it in our show. Please let me know if you're
interested and if this is possible and I'll give you our shipping info. I
look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,

and then this was my reply-
Hi,
Thanks for your email.
At the moment we are collecting footage in order to put together our first DVD, but if you have seen any of our videos from our website, you would understand that our camera is quite bad. For this reason I should be getting a much better camera within the next month or so, which we shall then film all of our stuff with.
I am interested in your offer you have proposed to us, but as I said we do not have a dvd as such, just videos on my home computer.
As soon as we have a dvd out you will be the first person I contact. The other option is I make a 'raw' dvd (ask if confused) full of our videos that you may be interested in.
Also, I do not have any idea how much we would want to sell you the dvd for, as I do not have any knowledge of whether you could display it for your own purposes e.t.c. e.t.c. Please explain about this, and the liscensing fees, if there is anything else that you need explaining to you feel free to ask.
My group, critical affliction have been waiting for someone like yourself to come through and offer us money for the things we generally enjoy doing, so I am thanking you on behalf of everyone in Critical Affliction. If you need anymore information on the group, or want to see some footage on us, goto our website at www.critical-affliction.co.uk
and yes, I probably do sound like a dumbass in my reply, but I have no idea how much to charge her and about liscensing fees, so if anyone could help with that I would appreciate it.
