As much as I would like to believe it Gazaa, the Xbox360 will not be running at 9.6 GHZ, it is a 3.2 GHZ with 3 cores, so that means that it will act like a super overclocked 3.2 GHZ processor. And broken silence I dont think that you will be able to use past controllers, because the PS3 controllers are going to be all wireless. Oh and how could you possibly say that the PS is more user friendly? thats gotta be some sort of sick joke...

Here is a ton of pictures of stuff from all of the upcoming consoles - LINK

Personally I dont like the design of the PS3 too much, looks kinda like a George Foreman, or a scanner, and the controller (prototype) is hideous.

I never mentioned it would run at 9.6 GHZ? I meant with the 3 core custom design, the performance could be close. Apple Macs run on a motorola CPU, and their processors run at the speed of double their clock speeds. I was just iffing around the fact that it would be nice if it ran at that speed biggrin.gif

Note, I never actually implied that it would RUN at 9,6 GHZ, I mentioned it will have the performance of a 9.6 GHZ, this clock speed isn't even commercially available today, the only means of getting that speed would be to use nitrate cooling systems with a lot of risk and overclocking, so I for one wouldn't have said that was the actual clockspeed. However, not acknowledging any facts apart from those I've read on gaming site's and making wild assumptions, I wouldn't put my money where my mouth is on the specifications of the 360.

QUOTE (AP Bill @ May 19 2005, 07:57 AM) Ok first of all, the PS3 hardware has a tiny bit of an edge over the Xbox360, and Xbox360 so far has the best features going for it. This console war is not going to be like the current one, where it is clear to see that the xbox has superior capabilities, this time however the games will not look very different at all, and both systems seem to have equal quality games.

And sorry to burst your bubble or whatever, "all in game footage totally real time!!!! :)"
Sorry no, the videos for the PS3 so far are all PRE-RENDERED and NOT in game or real time.

Most of the Xbox360 videos are in-game/real-time, but so far Sony has yet to release an in-game video.

And then there is the Nintendo Revolution... which one of the only things it has going for it is that it is the best looking IMO.

There is nowhere where it says its prerendered! If I am wrong I would like the link cause I think your just making shit up.

Well considering there was no HUD in any of the games, and the camera angle was all over, it doesnt look like its in game at all, duh. All of the developers have said that their videos were pre rendered, hold on let me find the proof. I have seen them say it in a video, just not sure which one. And no, I'm not just "making shit up" I am not a fanboy for either system, I own both.

Ok the camera angles I can see, but that thing about Killzone not having a HUD for realism... are you on drugs? If so can I have some?

its been done in games before and I think it might be cool or they took it out so it wouldn't clutter the screen.either that or its not done. but we really don't know for sure if it is in game or not so its only speculation. I am hoping it is and almost everyone I have talked to that has seen it thinks it is also (not just friends but people from forums....and not ps forums lol) and I dont think we know about the xbox vids yet also.......

Yes the Xbox videos (most of them) are real time, there is a HUD and everything. They also stated that the games were still in Alpha stage or something like that and were only using about 35%-40% of the Xbox360's full power, but I doubt its that low, probably around 80%. The PS3 videos have absolutely no proof that they are in real time, from what is released so far.

For the FFVII video, IGN called it a Real-Time video, but in the video you can clearly see that it states it is a Tech Demo . For Fight-Night, where is the video?? The I-8 video is the only one that looks as thought it might actually be in a PS3, but compared to the tech demos and pre rendered stuff that Sony has been showing, it doesnt look up to those standards. I'm not trying to bash Sony here, just trying to show you that so far sony hasent shown actual gameplay, other than the sub-par I-8.
