Avatar is a weird film: the plot is stolen, the actors are all pretty bad, it's way too long and the characters are morally black-and-white; but I still kinda enjoyed it.
I guess that's James Cameron's greatest success - he managed to make a bunch of bad parts into a fun movie that looks pretty.
