when I read this thread I had an awesome idea.. no way it's gonna happen but I thought it would be cool.
I was thinking, some homegrowns would send me a CD with some of their best footage (e.g RAS, CS, TCV, LSD, and my own SNF) then I would make a mixclip of this stuff with the group names and then at the end.. WE SUPPORT HOMEGROWNFORUMS.COM, and if it's an awesome clip people will think: damn there's good stuff out there, let's check it out.. I think it would be great but well yeah.. no one's gonna send me CD's so

yeah, I like it, we'd definately contribute to the cause, any other groups up for it? No mercy could contribute some great stuff too if they'd be willing, I mean, it's not like we'd be selling it or copyrighting it or anything at all except using it for the promotion of this forum, so I don't see why people would be totally unwilling to contribute.....and once we made a good clip, we could post the video on other forums that are homegrown and cky related (if they had a section for such a thing) and once the video started getting around we should start getting more members......
The only thing I didn't like about the idea though was putting it on a cd.....how about we just make a clip of some good stuff several minutes long and send it to you?

why is everyone always so hesitantly I don't see the problem.
I mean, it's just to make an awesome mix clip, it's not that it's going to be sold or anything and since everyone is so hesitantly this will probably never work out, is it so hard to just say YES or NO instead of WELL YEAH MAYBE.. IF...
seriously, we need to get shit started.. it will work out.. and if it doesn't.. would it matter?

I say the group dont get there names with the clips in the video. Have all the clips right after eachother so its just packed with great footage and then at the end just have
http://homegrownforums.com appear and start to scroll up. Then have regular scrolling credits such as...

well best would be if there's stuff from every group to make a 30 sec part per group of. So if there's 5 groups helping the clip will be around 2,5 minutes long..
