Just wondering what people use for their virus/spyware protection,

I use Norton Anti Virus, it's good I think, and spy sweeper is good for spyware, but I no longer have a valid trial for it,

anyway what do you guys use?

just wondering, to see if theres any other good one's people use

I use nothing.

I migrated to CentOS for good, its a linux distribution. I am so fed up of windows, I use my PC a lot for business work and I was always getting spyware and stupid dumbass viruses stealing my personal information. So I closed down my windows machine and formatted it and installed linux. Only thing I dislike is the fonts, but I'm gonna add windows fonts to it, and compiling to install can be a pain, but its not really hard.

Yeah I know.. I put suse 64 on my comp afew months back... Like it but its a pain in the ass to install shit and find stuff your used too....

When I get more time maybe ill give it another shot...

Yeah man, Windows has an awesome interface and GUI, and ALL flavours of unix are ugly as shit, and hard to navigate, but I really need the security now, and not having to worry about incoming e-mails and trojans and shizzle like that.

Just downloading a C++ compiler, so I can compile my programs on the command line as CentOS is pretty cut down, so needs a lot of work before its comfy as a desktop. I'm considering migrating the place where I have a maintenance contract also, if the programs are configurable on *nix, or can be installed on wine, then that will stop the bullshit network viruses and kazaa there biggrin.gif
