group protection

This mainly applies to the British scene, but I'm wondering what you all do to protect yourself from media invasion and shizzle, like what has happened with LNDL.

Lee Doyle has told me that they're asking LNDL of other groups, so each group should prepare themselves to be a media target....

I set up a good disclaimer on my site....see it at www.borntodie.co.uk (update either tomorrow or Weds by the way!).

somehow I think the media would take u as a target sooner than other UK groups simple because of your name.. its great for them to fuck with and to make some nice wordplays with. I know that sounds gay but its how the media is.

Well it's a production name, my make believe production company name. Plus I pride my videos on being half (if not) skateboarding....

when the cops shut me down, they said it was for my own protection....

It would be a good idea if everyone worked as one team in these sort of things. with everyone working on protecting sites and eachother from the law and media... well its better then doing it on ya own.

Its not really any of their business to be honest, I mean homegrowns have strong disclaimers..entering their sites is breaching the law and the internet privacy act. Its a cops job to lie and make you scared, realisticly, unless you are doing something which is actually against the law, then you can't be charged or hassled. I doubt many homegrowns do / are, so they have no clause.

if anyone is under the age of 18 and is in any of the videos with anyone else harming them in anyway... the cops will charge youwil GBH... even if everyone edmits that its all fine and they dont want to press charges....

I know that after that shit about some LNDL member beein arrested, me and al decided to put up a disclaimer so that we wont get in "major" trouble from the authorities. And anywho, thanks allballs we kinda got the idea from yours.

and uhh, I would personally make the first page the disclaimer, so that someone couldnt say that they didnt see the disclaimer, ours is the very first page you go to, and then you have to choose if you agree or disagree w/ said disclaimer. Its foolproof.

I haven't gotten my disclaimer up yet.. eek
