Let's sit down by the fire and listen to some life stories.

Nah I was just wondering though, how did u guys get started with your homegrown. What inspired you, or what happened that you started filming shit or doing specific stuff/ stunts..

Before all this homegrown stuff really blasted out, me and a mate were talking about it, we did a few skits but then I started working so they never got anywhere, we have re-released. And after our clip that got quite a bad rating we are going to improvise for you.

I dunno really, we started filming stuff sometime in 2000 when we found when of our friend's grandparent's video camera in the closet and just started filming random shit like slapping his grandpa and trying to ramp stuff with a riding mower and making big bonfires and shit. But when his grandparents found out what we had been doing they took away the camera and we didn't get to use one much until around christmas of 2001 when we started filming a lot of movies and shit that when we look back on now can't stop laughing about. None of them made much sense at all, and for some reason they all led into several sequels....in 2002 we started RAS when mikey, corey, and jon joined the cast. We started filming skating and eventually other members joined up. ...it's been pretty much the same way ever since with the exception of a few equipment upgrades and stuff..

Well, I go to skate with my cousin and his friends a lot at the local parks and stuff, and one day I was talking to my cousin about getting sponsored, and we talked a bit then I came up with the idea of having a skate team. Our website just came from me one day when I was bored. It all started with a Tripod account, a camera, and a couple of skateboards ;)

We just started filming crashes on bikes and skateboards as well as just normal skating. Then made a site and uploaded clips...

we started in 95 with the backyard wrestling, did that for a few years, and thats where the name no mercy started, then around 2001, we started filming random stunts, it was all shit, but fun nonetheless. Then i started workin for EA and it took all my time so we stopped for a while, then I quit, and dedicated alot of time into making our first dvd release

this might be kinda off topic but I just looked at the Jackass Top 100 list and I really hate the way groups think about their selves these day. It's all called "stupid..." "dumb.." "workless..." blabla, all these gay names. Most new groups think it's "cool" to be "stupid". But I don't see the stuff I'm doing "stupid" and I don't want it to be that.
"Random Acts of Stupidity" is just a good way to describe what we do. We just go out, skate a bit and then we suddenly we think .. hehe if we do this that could be hella funny. So it's just random actions really. Not like HEY LETS GO OUT TO DO STUPID SO PEOPLE WILL LOVE US HUHUHUH. I hate that.

I agree with Kuffi. this jackass phase is getting a bit much with all these dumb idiots copying other people, common be original.

My group got started in 99' when we were just skating and riding bikes off shit and pissing people off around town. And then my cousin got a camera so we started filming all the crap that we did. We didn't really have a name for our group until like 2000 so we called ourselves A2K (Anarchy2K) because we all believe in Anarchism But we never got a full video done and alot of our tapes got taken away by cops. Well, boredom-induced started like dis:

Back in the day, from about 1999 - 2002, i used to go muddin'/offroading alot with all the local rednecks. I always like taking off road pictures and such, so i figured making videos would be twice as cool. So i went out and spent my tax return on a mini DV camera. From there, i basically started filming everything, and i made a few videos, (just for friends), on our "boredom-induced" antics with offroading and a ton of other stupid shit.

Then i moved to west palm beach to get an apt. with the mullet. We both thought it'd be fun to make some stupid clips, so we tried, and came out with this:

http://www.boredom-induced.com/vids/blowjobomatic.wmv

People liked it, so we continued, bought a domain, and now here we are.

word up.

I always used to be pretty crazy with my friends. One day I stumbled upon CKY Forums.com and saw that other people do it and film it, so I'm now part of the trend.

well ok here it goes.
There was this group filming in 2001 called SkInNoFf. Ok, all good. They filmed some pretty cool shit with their shitty photocam. Me and a few friends were filming as well but it was called U.G.H (started in 2000). We first were only filming pranks but then we started to do more and more stunts. Then one day we met the guys of skinnoff and it all slowely merged and then there was Skinoff (skin-off, since we fall so much with skating, other things that we get all these wounds.. woo kinda stupid but ok who cares). Then I bought a better cam and we got a nice site and blah. Here we go. Still trying to grow.

Well, we always just like messed around and stuff, and thought it was really funny to see ourselves on camera. We had just filmed dumb stuff. Well, jackass came out and i was like thats pretty cool and i got my own camera in christmas of 2001. We filmed the stupidest things. Well, one day I found CKYForums.com and I seen that others were doing the stuff as well, but were putting it on the internet. I wanted to do that to. I just edited videos, but I did not know how to upload them and stuff.

Well, in the summer of 2003 I found a site called Triple0.net and they put another huge inspiration into us, to try and film better stuff. I then found out how to upload all the videos and other stuff, by asking Elliot from PickledEGGS and Leigh from Triple0 some questions.

We had never really tried filming skits, but we had done a few because I am a big fan of SNL, MadTV, and Kids In The Hall. But a couple months ago, I was inspired by the Local-Felons to start filming skits also.

So now we try and keep it going on both sides. Filming skits and stunts. Its all in good fun.

My story's too long. We were just in fifth grade and did a few stunts with a camera I had. Don't even remember how I got it and we liked filming and started Pranks. We started filming again in 7th grade and then we went through about five names and here we are now. With www.socalpranks.com

We began by me, my brother and step bro filming randoms stuff in our house, using my step dads camera. We loved watching it and asked the boys if we wanted to do "Jackass" stuff. My dear friend Greg mentioned CKY forums and i joined. we filmed a bit of some bush jumps and loved it. After much thinking I saw a billboard with fragile written on, and ding! thus we was born.
