really? that sucks. yeah I know a few of people who have been a fan of the book and thought the movie turned out really well. everything was how they imagined it except for marvin the robot. they didnt make him too well

Thats a pretty elaborate website for a movie....My friends went to it and they said it was awesome. YAY

Yup, marvin seems kind of out of place... and I know Ford Prefect shouldnt be black: In the book says that he got a tan, can black people have tans? I think not. It seems like they had to use black dude cause production company wanted or sum shit. he's the 'token' black guy. and anyway, with books in general, characters race or skin color is rarely discussed or even specified unless the story depends on it. so it shouldn't really matter, as for the book describing him as tanned, you could take this as a subtle method of getting the point across that he is black.

meh, I dunno.

lol. No way is he man. Well not from what I can tell from the book anyway....

I also thought that Arthur much older... Ive not seen the movie yet... want too though... biggrin.gif
