I've used:

Kazaa
Nappster
Limewire
personally.....I preferred the former Kazaa....now it seems like a lot of p2p programs are Pay only.........anyway, does anyone know of some good free ones (hopefully without adware)

kazaa is a piece of adware & virus distrubuted shit. However i highly reccomend
winmx Or
emule (Emule is base more on movies than music and short clips. But if you need pictures, music or short clips, then winmx is excellent.

I never liked WinMX. It seemed too complicating to me, and also went really slow.

WinMX was okay, I got a lot of ATHF and Family Guy eps off of it. I like it better then kazaa, yet i use Kazaa K++ :/. But anyway, is there a p2p program like kazaa that can be used for torrents? Besides the default one of course.. I heard there was one, just never found it.

I use winmx and kazaa k++.
Win mx is good for music and short clips.
kazaa k++ is better for software.

The amount of shit, fake downloads on kazaa is unbeilivable.
My mum nearly downloaded photoshop 8 that was 22kb.
Luckily, i have now taught her to look at file size.
