Well its a pointless thread really but got couple questions..
I jsut got my JVC Mini DV cam corder through.
What cables to I need and what hardware do I need to
BUY????
I have the cam 3 tapes, 2 batteries and charging cables and the cables from camera to pc
and any software??

If the cable from camera to PC is USB, then you'll need a firewire.

Like I dont have a cable from camera to pc, what would it be called were could I get it? a firewire card al get one in ebay ,could you show me a good one to get??

Does your computer already have a firewire card?

No it doesnt a bought ma pc in 2000. Doesnt have firewire card

It says it's all there. I have no idea if it's a good one, you said one on ebay. If I were you I'd go to whatever local electronics store you have and ask them. That's your best bet, because if it fucks up you can go back to the shop and bitch at em.

USB quality sucks so get firewire card and firewire.
I have Pinnacle firewire card and I have had no problems with it.

gd idea al take ma whole pc tell them to add much more ram and reinstall ma pc and add couple new bits to it. Its ma com puters bday soon.

Well here is my opinion on the camera...
Well its very nice, so fuckign light. Easy to use id say. Nice image, sounds its good, I still have to get all the shit so I can transfer it to my pc and check quality and sound.
The things I dont like
-The size a weebit
-The button to change the camera(as in filming or viewign) its soo dam hard. lol
I give it a 8/10 at the moment.
The baby is charging at the moment.

Well I am happy with this for £165.
Will get a job and save up for a btta camera lookign for a nice Canon proffesional cam.

DR have cannons.. and they suck .. unless you pay big money they are crap I hate my cam .. sony is the way to go
