QUOTE 1GB of DDR SDRAM

So which does it have? DDR is Double Data Rate RAM and SDRAM is Single Data Ram, can't have both! I presume its not the latter as it is a new computer.

Looks pretty good, according to the reviews it may not support operating system upgrades, but I highly doubt this as that can't be hardware related and at the end of the day its still a box with other manufacturers parts stuck in it and a pretty logo stamped on a case made in China.

Specs are decent, although I can't see listed anywhere the aperture / memory of the graphics card...just make sure its not PCI express and is a newer AGP model

Small review here;

It does use PCI express graphics card, in which the maximum framerate is around 30 FPS, this is pretty much a budget PC dude, it also uses an ATA hardrive, which although is pretty much the standard in computing SATA hardrives are a lot faster and can be picked up for not much more.

My reccomendation is shop around more, this PC is cheap ass dude, and new looks like it needs a little upgrading. See if you can select custom parts on this model and then it would be a good deal. Its not too bad for editing I guess, but for gaming it won't be much use.

Thanks for the feedbakc, I appreciate it. I cant build my own. I have to get it from best buy. I dont have the cash...and best buy is the only place that will finance me. Im approved for $1000 credit...here is their pc section. If you see a computer for under $1000 that you think is better than the Gateway im looking at...let me know. It would help me alot.

My old computer got destroyed by what I have been told is a really simple trojan virus. I got it from that "YOU ARE AN IDIOT HAHA" flash. My norton couldnt find it...even in safe mode. So I assumed it wasnt there. but it was and it disabled all of my programs 1 by 1 and did a bunch of other shit.

The sony vaio at Best Buy for $899 looks good, but its sort of their low end model. Let me know what you think.
