I would just try and keep it in your area.. or maybe sell over the internet if its good enough..
no need for a large production unless your 100% sure they will sell..

I know this because our last group made a DVD was ok but only sold like 20.. we were gonna go big.. THANK GOD we didnt.. would of lost so much money..

Hey man, if your looking to get your DVD pressed, I know SPDST got the 1st dvd done 500 copies, with cases and silk screen dvds for around $2500(cnd). Also there were 100 copies that were done by D-Man, with a dvd burner, and those only cost the price of the dvd's plus some empty cases...... As far as logo design and any graphics you need done, I have a friend and he has a multi-media team... the do everything from websites, to tattoos... you can check his shit out at

I'd say get the production of your DVD done partly by yourself, partly by a company. Get a media team to do your cover, buy the cases and whatever yourself (they are fucking cheap on markets biggrin.gif) burn as much as the orders you get in so you wont end up with 100 dvd's no one wants.

we're going to edit a DVD in the summer with another group from Holland it's going to be a Skate Video with some stunts in it and shit (between the skate parts). It will be distrubuted by a company and will be available in every skateshop in Holland.. hopefully. So maybe it's better for you to put money in distribution instead of covers and such.

Yeah, there's no point in juping straight into it.

Also release a really good promo before the DVD release to hype people up.

dudes I don't want to rag on you at all, but all your vids never seemed dvd worthy, you know your group better than I do so unless you have been saving some awsome footage for later the dvd's content will be weak, im just being honest but maybe im the only one who thinks so, but if you have been saving really good footage ill take your word for it

ya, there is really no point in a dvd if the film is shitty and that means quality so in order to get dvd quality you should get a new vid cam, only cost about $1,500 but well worth it... Sony Handycam DCR VX2100 very good camera, it's what I use, so check it out

OK I wont quote jsut rite a small paragraph, I was only asking to see how much effort I will be putting towards this DVD, Main thing no 1 in the group will afford cams like that. I just bought one which has not arrived yet for £160 which is aorudn 250 Dollars or so. I dont study, or work so I dont earn moeny atm. Thats y I asked so I know how hard I will have to work. Thank you for all the feedback

Our Dvd will contain things such as

Some backyard wrestling
"The Boxing"
Skits
Pranks
Stunts
and couple strips and loads titties.

And atm I am still thinking of main ideas.

I think you should get a little better before releasin a dvd ,you have shown soem good improvment, and with your dedication I think you could release a kickass dvd in a couple of years .
but I think now is not the time,I would rather get better and put out some relly good vids here before, and build up some customers
