Does anyone know how I can mute one clip without muting the whole thing?

cut it either side of where u want the mute ..... right click an click mute ... easy External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/Copy of happy.gif

you need WMM2 to do that effect,

wtf do u want man? be specific.
do you have 5 clips with sounds in 1 video and do u want to cut out the sound of 1 of the clips (if so, just delete the audio that comes with that clip) or if you want to delete the sound of the 5 clips, select ALL audio parts at once and press DEL. in adobe premiere.
