I'm not a great skate boarder. But i am pretty damn cool on a snake board.
Just out of interest, does anyone else use a snake board?

Ive never tried looks hard tho, Not much jump ability.

That is one really bad thing; no jumb ability.
But sitll, you can go uphill and a good turn angle.
Also, if you're good enuf on it, you can do really sweet turns, and it feels just like surfing, or snowbarding. This is because the back spins around rather than both turning simultaneously.
Doesn't anyone else snake board or know anyhting about it?

a snake board is basically a board with two swivelling sections, so u can move the front and back independeltly.

anyway my friend that moved away a month ago had a snke board, they are hard as fuck to ride, but he had so much fun..he would play chicken with the cars (cough broken leg cough)

They do take a bit of getting used to.
It took me about 3-4 months, but it suddenly clicks.
When you can do it, it feels damn good.

Its called a snake board, because it moves in a snake movement. - That long continuous 'S' shape.
You know the way when blading or roller skating, you put one foot on the angle and push outwards, thus creating movement in a foreward direction. It works like that, except you do that with the back foot, and steer directionaly with the front foot.
The technique is very hard to master, at the begining, but keep trying and you will get it - eventualy. So, if you do happen to get one, dont give up, its worth it in the end.
