an I frame is a page displayed within a page ..... to change the color change the other page that it is linked to

<iframe src"change the color of this page " width"xx" height="xx">

Remember, this probably only works in Internet Explorer as it supports non compliant shitty code

and gaz what the fuck does that bit at the end of the code do??? never seen that before ... if you want to change the bg color of it change the back ground color of the page inside the iframe

If he wanted to change the colour of inside the frame then he would have changed the target pages colour. I think he meant the scrollbars, and the bit at the end is if you want to add transparency, just included it for yates' self satisfaction

to change the scrollers I would have added a bit of css at the top of the target page ..... doesnt that work???

No because thats not relative to the iframe, all that does is change the target pages scrollbar colours when you open the page in full, does nothing to the iframe I believe.

Besides with the increase in popularity of firefox changing scroll bars colours is slightly pointless as only IE reads the uncompliant code
