Hey. I haven been on here in a while but I have a wee question to ask

As I know a couple guys here are from the uk...

Say I have a shoplifting conviction from about four years ago can I enter the uk with the visa waiver programme? Will they ask me questions when I land?

I am entitled to a British passport but currently only hold a new Zealand one.

Any help would be appreciated
