although saying that, I did just come back from Vegas and was fucking awesome...
on the other hand, ESPN kept talking about the USA as if they were as good as Brazil etc which annoyed me.. so therefore...

Didn't think they were amazing, it was a pretty close call in most stages.
Saying that, I wanted Ghana to go through because
1) It would have a great impact in Ghana, they'd appreciate it so much more
2) I wanted one African nation through at least and they're the only ones left

Around here our sports casters had to have someone special come in and explain how the United States had a shot in Soccer. We had so much Soccer advertising trying to convince us we like this shit.
World Cup would have loved that money.
But the only people who care about soccer in the states are hispanic immigrants, and they aren't rooting for the US, so no one white knew America [I]could[/I] have done something.
Watching soccer isn't something you can do right away either, gotta get used to the unique timing and appreciate different things.
We like 6 points for one score and big action.

It seemed like there was a whole new football boom while I was in the states and it got repulsive hearing how confident and cocky all the americans were about their team. Good thing they're out. I love all you Americans nevertheless, but I hate you in sports haha
and lol^, I don't think the World Cup is short of money even though Old Spice and Coors were left out of the tourney
