Yeah, I saw previews for this game. I gotta wonder just how good the graphics will be with 256 players in a server. That one game about oil that came out in like 2008 boasted about 64 players at once, and it was a big ass mess, with choppy graphics and poor response time from servers.

I don't have a PS3, and it's unlikely that 256 people period have a PS3, much less enough people to have 256 on at once. Gotta question the viability of something like this. Especially considering the incredible amount of data that'll have to be involved.

I remain optimistically positive about it, but until I see it in action, I am not convinced of any realistic capacity for their projected # of players.

Even though just having 128 players would be intense.

My thoughts were similar. I mean we wait for big team battle sometimes for a while

Great idea, but like Ray said if past attempts at big amounts of players on consoles is anything to go by this will fail. Hopefully thats not the case and we will finally start to see larger online games for consols, but I won't hold my breath.

looks sweet but that amount of players combined with sony's shitty online service is gonna probably amount to huge fail.

To be fair Frontlines is a steaming pile of shit whether you play with 64 players or 1.
