I don't think I should have to take that extra step ray.

might as well chisel the shit myself into a stone tablet while I'm at it.

 Haha, It's not an extra step! In fact, it saves you time! Just click on that at the portal, and it goes directly to that post in that thread. No scrolling or page-sifting. Just click the bubble, and you're there.

I just tried it. and it was quite easy...but

imagine I was drunk, the bubble needs to be 2x the size at least.

How does the Go to Last Post button work? It still takes me to the first page of a thread when I click on a thread and there's nothing else to click on

edit: nevermind, would it be possible to have multiple skins? so you could choose between dark and light color schemes?

I'm drunk and don't know if it's already been mentioned but, in your profile the post count it shows is incorrect, it says I have 1,915 when I have 2,000 plus. Also in your profile it shows your AIM but when editing profile I don't see any way of editing my AIM name.

Fucking lol at how the rep system's been used by us. I definitely like using it as a weapon.

I dunno if it's still happening but I remember on the old forum nearly all of the posts were hidden from search engines. I think it was something to do with unregistered users not being able to see them or something? Would up the value quite a bit to have all them pages indexed.

Search engines can index the forums, they have auto member permissions as the forum software recognises them as googlebot for example. They see what a normal member sees, and a guest who doesn't login cant view topics.

There are about 15k topics and 10k user profile pages and only 1,900 pages are indexed in google.

is there going to be a read/unread marker for the topics? I liked that about the old HGF.

EDIT: and also, what features come with the facebook/twitter integration? cause all ive noticed is the new fanpage on fb, and a link on the forums. kinda seems pointless to me.

okay, I was talking about on the portal, there was a little orange square besides the thread that had a new post since my last visit. the mark board as read really did nothing that I saw.

I no there is a "bubble" link to last post but on the old forum the link was right next to the title of the thread. this made sense cos you read it and clicked it right next to it. is there anyway we can have both?

Also, Matt, you should consider a list of people with the highest rep, and with the lowest rep. Obviously not everyone will be listed, just those with rep either positive or negative. Maybe? Kind of like the list of "Top Posters All Time," only with a set Rep for active members to see who ranks tops and bottoms. I'm more than happy to keep it anchored at the bottom.

Is there any way that we could have it so we stay signed in unless we choose to sign out? Bit annoying having to sign in every time?
Yeah, I remember these. I shall add this to my list of bugs, will try and sort it out by tonight. Although this could be tricky to implement. Unfortunately at the minute im just looking at the times of the last post. Or clicking view new posts in the top right corner.
Yes, I am already working on this code. Will have it under the board stats. If all goes well I should have this on tonight also.
