So, just like my last request aboot the suction car mounts. I need more knowledge from all u guru bastards out ther. So-

I want to do some field recording for personal purposes and I came upon...

Recorders - Digital Recorders - Micro Recorders - Digital Voice Recorders - Handy Recorder

SOOOOOO many recorders I could go cross eyed xp

But alls I need it a simple unit that can record with an onboard mic, or an external one I dont care. And I need to be able to transfer it to my comp via SanDisk, or USB and have it in a mp3 format preferably :p

I found ONE that seems to be my DREAM FUCK in terms a goode field recorder.

Zoom - H2 Handy Recorder HERE

But are there other similar products that can possibly be a little cheaper?> or is 200 the new 100?

Did any of us edit the sub-header for this thread? Or did he put that in there himself? Because god damn, it's true.

Smith, very interesting you bring this up.

I was at my local wal-mart and saw three different audio recorders, one was a sony 40 something dollar one, 200 hours of audio and it had editing built in.

check check check it out.
