I first wanted to try if there's any way of putting this on my hv30 with a 35mm adapter but I kind be arsed so

What do you mean old school lenses? You mean old lenses or 35mm lenses? Can't check link to know exactly what your talking about but good luck findong a cheapway of attaching it. Your best cheapest way is probably a redrock, which I still wouldn't recommend purchasing.

So any ideas how to get piece of that DOF action then?
