Halloween Re-make Sequel

I know a few people enjoyed the Re-make as much as I did, I'm pretty stoked on hearing this.

In a few years time there'll be no new movies, just remakes and remakes of the sequels of remakes.

They're already working on the new Evil Dead...seriously, it's just a matter of time.

Don't forget adaptations.

Rob Zombie's Halloween wasn't a remake though, unless I'm badly mistaken and remember it all wrong.. So technically this isn't a sequel to a remake either.

Ok I've only seen it once so I might be remembering wrong but wasn't RZ's Halloween in fact a prequel? The original Halloween (1979?) told the story of Jamie Lee Curtis' character's and his brother's Michael Myers' "reunion" while RZ's was about Michael escaping the loonie house and just murdering people.

He went and found his little sister again. But this one was more about what happened to him and all the mental breakdown crazy shit.

They implied a lot of the family violence in the first one if I remember right.

this is going to suck, he will release a new remake of halloween every year just like the saw movies......

Dear god I hope not, The series is only just starting to regain respect, compare the reception to RZ's Halloween compared to the abomination that was H20.
That being said, I've not been able to sit throughout the remake for some reason, never was all that big a fan of the originals either, especially that fucked up one with halloween masks and no michael myers.

As for the Evil dead remake...Pure blasphemy.
No-one but BC could ever play Ash, and to exclude the character from the mythos just wouldn't work.

I would never have bought the old Halloween films, but if this new one is as good as the first then BOOM.

The original is awesome. H20 is decent too from what I remember.
