Whilst trying to preview what I have edited on Adobe Premiere Pro the video in the 'monitor' box, which illustrates what I have on the timeline, plays really jumpy. the audio is perfect but can not understand what is happening in the video because it is monged really. Little help ?

Well I would just save it as a project...then save it as an actuel movie then edit the bits u dont like...pretty shit idear..but it could help

processor speed "might" play a role in this, or windows just sucks up everything

once u have finshed what you edited just press "enter" and it will render it all.

It's just a memory and cpu thing. You have to render (enter) or export video to see it properly.
Or just press space bar (pause) twice, to pause and unpause so it catches up...
