ok....some lame wad from ma bit started some virus and loads of people ano know have it. anyway the virus opens a convo itself with people on msn and says summit along the lines "omg this is so funny....take a look at this....(then it has some fucking link).

I ran trend micro housecall and it said I have some javabytever.a-1 infection and I could only delete it. Can someone pleeeeez help me get rid of it.

It was some pif. file? When I go it I googled the anme and found out how to remove it.

doesnt come up on google for me it changes names and url apparently mines called youandme.pif

well I tried google and I just got a load of mcaffee stuff, not much help.

would system restore sort it...or will the virus still be embedded in the system somewhere?

I highly doubt you know the guy who did it, its like an international problem, so that kid must be teasing

The one I got was some webcam.pif googlet it an dfirst link told everything about it... though I have heard that it can lead to sites that give you the virus. But I still say google it. I got rid of it with F-secure and soem value stuff.

yeah I realise now its international...its just this guy has infected everyone from ma school coz hes a gimp lord.

if you have service pack 2 restart and your firewall should block it ... worked for me
