im not critiquing you to make you look like a dipshit, you gave out inaccurate information.
a.) police can and will search if they have probable cause. Look up the 4th Amendment.
b.) Nothing you say can be used against you until you have been read your miranda rights. If the police arrest you, they will read you your miranda rights. Keep in mind that there is a difference between being detained and arrested. If you have committed a serious crime, such as a felony, your best off keeping your mouth shut. It's important your friends keep their mouths shut as well.
I'll throw in my 2 cents right here - if youve committed a serious crime, the police will question you before they arrest you. They will lie over and over and over again. They will make up anything they can to get you to talk. If your with your friends, and your being detained and questioned seperately, I promise you they will tell you shit like "your friend just ratted you out, your going to jail buddy unless you speak up". You cannot fall for this shit. If you plan on filming some risky shit, you need to speak with everyone involved before hand. Make sure everyone know's what to expect if you are to get caught, and make sure everyone knows to keep their mouths shut reguardless of what they are told.
However, if you committed a minor crime, sometimes you can talk your way out of it and get off with a warning.

that statement is not true. You will need a permit from your city to film on public property. If you dont get a permit, you can be fined a shitload of money. Although, I've never heard of this being enforced. Look at tourists for example.
I guess thats it. I'll throw in 2 other things though...
1.) if your under 18, there is a huge advantage to being minor. If you commit a crime...your punishment, unless tried as an adult, will be extremely weak.
2.) kiddy porn, dont fuck with that shit. Dont film it, dont download it, dont host it, and dont show it off...especially if you are 18 or over.
