Yah, just post any hardcore or cool clips you have, preferrably without 5000 effects in them, and kuffi can shove them all in a mix clip, thanks to those who PMed me some vid links, although I would prefer it if you posted them here, or I'll probably delete them by mistake at some stage

the quality should be pretty reasonable. Yes, it does get compressed down. But compressing crappy based quality vids gets even worse.

So what does everyone use to compress stuff?
I used Adobe Premeire Pro and Pinnicle Studio 8 for editing. Which after all is said and done a 3-4 min clip, length of one song, is around 5-6GB, as a .mov, .avi or .dvavi
After I use my compressing software my 5-6GB clip is now a 21MB clip.
Ex. Our new Promo/Intro First clip

I used to use Adobe Premiere but im going to compress my next clips with Windows Media Encored. U will first have to save your project as uncompressed AVI and then compress it in WME but I guess it's worth it, 500kb/s @ WME can be compared with 700kb/s @ Adobe Premiere so it definitely is a big difference.

If you look at our clips, the faceoff and the new promo, its 915kb/s. So what I'm using is better than that WME.

uhh that makes no sense buddy. I was saying that for a smaller size with WME u will get a better quality compared to what u get with Adobe Premier. I could also have said:

And I dont see why you WOULDNT submit it. I'll post all links to all sites etc etc. in the clip so it will only do your group good probably since this will be a "best of the best" clip. You can help me make it better by submitting good shit. I won't spread these clips, use them for a DVD or whatever. Don't worry. I'm just not like that and right now I don't even know how to create a whole DVD so don't worry and please just help us out.

Export it from your camera as an avi.
You cant really convert a wmv back to an avi, you'll lose quality.

Ok. I've found pretty good ways to covert WMV back to AVI so you CAN submit WMV files .. BUT the quality should be more than 2000kb/s so the quality is still good/average.

I have nothing on my computer but when I film stunts with DR ill let u use some of them
also to get wmv to avi, just send back to tape from mm2 then capture again
