Importing Divx

I need some help when ever I try to import an divx movie, all I get is the audio from it, with no video. this also happens when I try to import youtube videos. I use adobe premiere elements 3. any help mates??

Google for a converter and convert the files to DV-AVIs before you import them into Premiere Elements and your problems will go away.

is there any simpler ways??

From what I find there is no simpler way.

I was trying to get a divx file into premiere, was having a big problem....then I just changed the file extension to avi

felt dumb that such a simple bullshit fix worked.

So give it a try!
