Here is the video to our recent teaser, as promised.

Pretty sweet stunt. The aftermath was brutal, too.
A little long, though. 3 minutes for one stunt is dragging it out a bit. Nice clip, though. You managed to make light tubes semi-tolerable. Just cut out like 2 minutes of the walking/talking about it.

Yeah I understand about it being lengthy. However, if I were to use it anywhere else, I would cut it down drastically. The only reason I left it long was to show everyone exactly what went on and for anyone who wanted to see anymore of the aftermath. Cause really, if you are one of those people who just wanted to see the stunt and the damage, you can just stop the video when you want to.

Put it up on youtube...the myspace link won't work for me

thanks for sticking around at mcdonalds earlier wes, I showed up, walked around like an idiot, then walked out. they probably are expecting a terrorist attack as of now.
but anyways, body slam into a table of light tubes, I found boring and overdone by BYW. adding the people below the table to act as legs would have been creative if WPF didnt do it by jumping off the swingset and doing it. but I give you respect for one upping a stunt. I dont see a re-done stunt as good unless the ante has been upped. and my judgement: its a good stunt, but barely. in most of my criticisms, I push for creativity. I think thats one thing that this scene needs. that and more people to get off their ass and go film. im a victim of that myself, but im going to pick it back up as soon as I get my camera back from FMS.

Actually, I agree on the unoriginality. This was originally just going to be some more footage for our big mixup we just did. It just so happens the outcome was a little worse than we expected it to be. This was intended to be a 5-10 second clip in a mixup, but things can and do go wrong. And, in the stunt world, it usually makes for better footage. Any "bigger" videos of ours in the future will probably be much more unique than this. This is more like a stunt gone wrong than a feature video.

well, im glad someone out there is filming and getting shit done. ive been trying to write some skits lately, but to no prevail. and I dont have a camera to film with anyways.
19 November 2007, 20:15 UTC#8
Is it to no avail or is it to no prevail?
Which one is right?

I liked it, the first angle made it seem a lot higher than it was, but it was good you had two. Good after shots as well.
It did drag a little and it wasn't that original, but who cares; it was good stuff.

Thanks alot guys. I'm hoping to get some money up from selling clips and stuff so I can buy an FX1. This way we can finally film the movies and skits we've been planning for so long amongst other things and have them be in decent quality. I mean, this isn't terrible, but it's far from what it could look like.
EDIT: Here are two more pictures of Burgerz that night after he got back from the Hospital:

Lightube stitches suck! They have to rub all inside the cuts and shit, it's poop.
Wasn't very original, but you can't overlook the aftermath, which was pretty sweet.

Stunt was kick ass, the aftermath didn't do much for me. I figured it was gonna be bloody (hence the teaser), that high angle made me love that stunt.
