I got this e-mail in October and I only just realised, also unfortunatly I no longer have any of my video footage but it may be of interest to some of you guys.
If you contact him just tell him I referred you so he knows where you got his details from.
Hi. I just visited your web site and it looks like you have some amazing material!
I'm working on a new TV series called "Video Zonkers". We're looking to license everything from dramatic/edgy video, such as police chases, shootouts, accidents, and fire explosions/rescues caught on tape to quirky/funny video, such as public access material, world record attempts, amazing stunts, bizarre festivals/hobbies, jackass-type activities, foreign game shows, quirky TV program excerpts, etc. We also feature within each show women in bikinis doing some sort of physical activity.
Our other series "Whacked Out Sports" is a barter-type show airing nationwide on assorted local stations. In addition, this series re-runs on Spike late night.
We use a lot of INTERNATIONAL footage in our shows.
I'm interested in screening copies of your YOUR BEST MORONIC MAYHEM VIDEOS, INCLUDING YOUR DVD(S). I'd like to show my boss this footage so that he can consider it for use in our new series. Feel free to send me any other material that you think I might be interested in licensing. You can send me screeners on whatever format is easiest for you-- DVD, MiniDV, DVCAM, or even VHS.
Of course, we CANNOT use your material until we make a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal with you. If my boss likes the material, then our clearance person will give you a call and/or e-mail you to work out a deal. We offer decent, worldwide exposure and we PAY to license footage.
Whenever available, interview footage is helpful. If there is no interview footage, that's okay.
For your reference, my shipping details are, as follows:
*IF INTERESTED PM/MSN ME FOR HIS DETAILS*
Our FedEx # is *******. (Use this account number so that we pay for shipping.)
If you give me a call or drop me an e-mail, I'd be happy to tell you more about our two series, our requested licensing terms, and the kind of material we're seeking!
I hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
