No, its probably not covered by any kind of warranty, because it wasn't scratched when you first got it.

You know what gets my goat?
Renting a scratched DVD, returning it (after having unsuccessfully watched it on every available player in the house) and then have some dickhead 14 year old spend 20 minutes looking for a replacement copy.
Meanwhile, I could be at home enjoying myself and not having to put up with the ineptitude of people and the general inconsideration of society as a whole.

I bought a game once, and I mean only once have I ever bought a game, and it was scratched to fuck.
They replaced it, in store, on the spot.[
