yes thank you for all laughing at my mums bf's bad fortune. he wanted to make the barrel flare when he lit the petrol, but because of the vapour, it flared before he had time to move out the way. the air mixture had already become explosive.

yeah, he was lucky with that because his eyes were wide open. it did dry them out though. he had to have these drops put in them to lubricate them.
