When we first started around 4 years ago, we used a VHS-C, we continued to use it until spring of 2002 when we got an 8mm camera, that winter we got a HI-8 camera and stopped using the 8 mm, then finally last fall (2003) we got a Digital 8 camera that we are currently using, we also have a big news camera from the 1980s that we got for a dollar at a yard sale, but I don't have the recorder box for it

Theres a vx2100 but i dont know which one is better...

Tis true, but we have a samsung NP-D55 ad another on emy mate has which is brand new and awesome, but not one of those 'beefy' ones you have handles with. I'm hoping to get a new camcorder soon though.

camera is in!! got the sony vx2100 and filming........its the most amazing piece of equiptment ever and if u have $3,000 layin around id suggest u go out and buy one becuase the quality is out of this world.....brett .....afn videos

the vx 2100 is the newest model....u have to get one online bc they dont sell them n e were, u can buy one for the lowest $2,000 but that doesnt come with n e thing....if u want a phish eye or a battery or n e of that junk its ganna cost up to 3 or 4 thousand....sounds like alot but i think itll be worth it in the long run bc ill never have to get another camera again..........plus its only ganna take me around 2 years workin at dominos to pay it off lol...got n e questions about it just ask....brett afn videos

Right now I've got this Sharp 8MM analogue piece of shit. Haha, it sucks. It's not even mine, it's my dads but I've got nothing else to film with. Can't wait 'till I get my Mini DV in a few weeks.
