Are you sure that all data has been lost? Did you make any attempts to rescue files? e. g. plugging the harddisk to an other PC or booting with KNOPPIX

ouch! thats bad losing all your data. I hate it when shit like that happens. something like that happened to my ps2. I completed tonyhawksproskater3 and when I saved game my fucking ps2 crashed! I was bummed. my ps2 always crashes, even my other slimline one
