Wouldnt it be cool if HGF streamed internet TV of like all the differnt crews. Just DL a buncha vids off all the HG sites and stream it for all of the winamp TV freaks to see. Probly could score a deal some how too

Would need a very fast/decent internet connection, and pc on 24/7

gazaa is a part of a hosting company... and he has a HGF radio station. Im sure something could be worked out.

my idea was to have a HG database where Homegrown groups could sign up for and they would be able to put links up to their latest clips, 10 newest clip will appear on a menu at hgcentral.com. And of course there will be a database with all links to all videos per group with the note with it that videos older than a month might not work and that homegrown group can be contacted about info about broken links.

This is a good idea, but the amount of bandwidth it would use would be incredible.
The shoutcast server will be down for a couple of hours more, due to router problems.
But it broadcasts @ 64 kb per second, thats 3.8 megabyts used per minute, which is 228 megabytes per hour, so in a day it will use 5472 megabytes of bandwidth.
That makes up 164160 megabyts of bandwidth per month, which is a lot!
A web TV would far surpass that amount, and on each server there is 2000 gb of bw pm, which also needs to be used for clientele.
Just not economical.

yeah, I bet some groups would pay you to put "commercials" of there dvd relases ont there though.

gazaa thats why I say, let THEM post links to their vids.. 20 groups having 20 vids of 10mb is loads of bandwidth that will be used.. but from different servers so it wouldnt matter that much.
and I'd love to make monthly compilations of the best shit out here for HG Central as well.. damn

my friend made one for HAR
and you could make your own at Launch Music at Yahoo

that would be sweet, having someone who makes a compilation each month of all the good videos that have been released, to put on hgcentral, nice idea kuffi.
