a prime example of not what to say when someone critisizes your work. yet you guys started this thread like you had originallity and that you were better than everyone else. which is a huge moronic mistake. because look at the comments you recieved.
I watched the promos. not bad. I liked some stuff. but I still don't see how you're different. I saw bush jumping and shopping carts and all the don'ts. why are you making a dvd? or better yet why did you make a dvd? your stuff isn't extreme and wasn't money worthy. you'd be better off just making a webmovie or just slice that dvd into episodes and just have em on a website.
a bad production idea if you ask me. just not bad content. stick to simplier things.

Yeah, and we didnt like the new clips either. I couldnt be bothered to watch em to the end cause it was too boring, and editing and all that side of producing is poor. There could have been funny stuff but it dragged too long to find out.

There £10 cuz we had them professionally duplicated, and its costs alot of money, and therefore I cant really afford to loose money, seen as im at university!

so why does it cost £3 for postage when I know it cost just under £1 to send a dvd anywhere in the uk, I mean I sent a tape to scottland for 27p the other week

because the postage includes the ridiculus pay pal and ebay fees aswell! Also the dvds get sent in boxes, so it adds to the weight!
Anyway I dont think people should be so sceptical, everyone thinks I came here wiv an attitude, but I didnt start any of these arguments, I retaliated to derogotary comments that were made about our videos, thats all, and now cuz I touched on sum sensitive subjects, everyone thinks im the bad guy!

Hi, basically a few things need to be said white trash started with the average ideas basic destuction of abandoned houses I.e jumping through the ceillings, walls, fences hedges, but as time progressed and attitudes changed so did the ideas, alot more acting was involved little movies etc., I'm in White Trash and I must admit I dont think it's really for people that don't know us because alot of it is just general good times footage, but there is stuff that would appeal to anyone, the editor should have done better than he did theres alot of stuff missed out but hey what can yo do, the question why did we make a dvd, because we can also weve already sold about 30 dvds, no the people that bought them were not stupid, they range in ideas, aspirations, ages etc.

personally I wouldnt have used jackass or anything like that in a description or you will wet your pants. I would have approached it with more tact. But the guy who did it has done a good job promoting so far and arranging so he does deserve some credit.

Fair enuff I admit the videos that I have posted arent that good, however I know the dvd is, and im seriously thinking about sending a copy of White trash to someone on the forum to review. Ok I watched all the videos posted on this thread by whitetrash. the first and last 2 were SHITE. the two promos were good but definatly not dvd material. a promo has to show really good stuff. watch adverts for dirty sanchez etc. they show really good clips which make people want to see/buy. but they save the absolute best stuff for the dvd.
and you even used the intro song from jackass for the opening to your promo. so dont even try saying you are not an "imitation".
I don't know about anybody else but I didnt understand the whole paul thing. you have only sold 30dvds because they are only to people you know. you said yourself that a lot of it would only appeal to people who know you. that isnt great marketing because now everybody who reads that will know that some stuff they wont understand.
also your price is pretty ridiculous. £5 or £6 is much more realistic. giving it a ".99" price also seems like you want it to look too professional. bring it down to a round number or at least put it as £10.
I personally wouldnt buy your dvd unless the price came down and I saw some of your really good stuff. I dont doubt you have better stuff, but would want to see it first. you have to let people make up their own minds about you, not demand that your dvd is the best.
